After-School Program
After-School All-Stars provides daily comprehensive after-school programs to nearly 81,000 children in need on over 450 school sites in 12 different cities from NYC to Hawaii, including Downtown Value School. Every program incorporates academic support, enrichment opportunities, and health & fitness activities.
DVS students may participate in the After-School All-Stars program Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We take pride in providing parents a low-cost and high quality afterschool program with over 20 hours of care per week with well trained and supervised staff.
While many afterschool programs charge per child, we only charge per family for an unlimited number of days per week, averaging $2.00 per day. This covers supervised extra-curricular activities, homework time, snack, fieldtrips, transportation to-and-from fieldtrips, and healthy food choices.
If you are experiencing an economic hardship, you must come to the office and schedule an appointment with the Principal or Vice Principal of the school. Any parent requesting a modified payment plan or lower cost afterschool care will be asked to fill out an application and submit evidence of low income and/or unemployment.

Terms of Enrollment
- Failure to complete payment or late payment will result in termination of child's enrollment in the afterschool program
- There is a $35 fee for any bounced check.
- DVS All-Stars reserves the right to suspend or terminate a child's enrollment due to unacceptable behavior.
- If the child is pulled from the program and/or he/she is expelled from the program, no reimbursement for unused time will be made.
